We had Advanced heating and cooling come out to see if they could install a whole home humidifier and air purifier. Rich was so patient. He came and inspected the house, gave us recommendations on what he thought would optimize our needs and even tried to accommodate a unit that we wanted. He went as far as to research it and find out about installation for us. In the end, we bought a carrier system that Advance sells. Installation was pretty seamless and efficient. The crew was very courteous, and if they had any questions or problems, they worked on it until the problem was resolved. They also put in wifi thermostats that communicated with my humidifier which has been fantastic. We have had the air purifier and humidifier now for about 3 months with no problems. My kids always comment on how fresh the air smells when we come back after a long trip and (knock on wood), have NO severe illnesses this winter. Also, my child has terrible winter skin due to dry air. The humidifier has added so much moisture in the air that he is much more comfortable. We are very happy with our system. This was turn key service for a very affordable rate. I had priced out the same system with other companies for several hundred dollars more and without the fabulous customer service I have received with Advance.

Customer called to have a new thermostat installed. Service technician turned off power to system and remove existing thermostat. Installed new honeywell programmable thermostat. Turned power back on and tested heat and air conditioning. Removed dirty air filter. Customer will purchase and install new furnace air filter. Customer very happy with service and thermostat installation. Customer will also purchase preventative maintenance. Will recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling to all of his friends and family.
Customer called for service for radiant heat loop issue and pump problem. Checked radiant floor mix manifolds, valves, radiant zones. All zones except number 9 were up to setpoint. Tested pump 17 and working. Replaced multiple pumps due to sticking. Bad motor discovered on pump 7. Replaced. Purged and tested each loop. All working now. All problem zones except #9 were for forced air heat. Left thermostats the same as radiant setpoint for that zone. Recommend forced air zones be set at same temp as radiant zones to give pumps some use and keep temps more steady. Found unmarked switch at top of main control board that turns off all three attic hydronic heat pumps. Fixed. Problem totally resolved. Customer very happy and will refer to friends.
Customer requested preventative maintenance for oil boiler. Service tech opened & cleaned boiler, burner, igniter, flame sensor, flushed drain. Checked boiler pressures. Cleaned inside cabinet. Cleaned all electronic air cleaners and two need to be replaced. Checked humidifiers and heat operation in all zones. Cleaned filters, drain, condensate pump and all running well now. Adjusted set point on thermostat. Tested radiant heat zones and pumps for proper operation. Service call completed and customer very happy with service techs and how professional they were.
Customer requests quote for carrier steam humidifier and air knight air purification system. Installing carrier steam humidifier along with new carrier programmable wifi enabled thermostat to control humidity with extreme accuracy. Air knight also successfully installed to reduce bacteria, mold and other pollutants in the air for son with respiratory problems. After successful installation, customer noticed a positive difference with 24 hours. Will recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling to all of her friends.
