The technicians were very professional, cordial, thorough. I would highly recommend my new system to anyone.
We had Advanced heating and cooling come out to see if they could install a whole home humidifier and air purifier. Rich was so patient. He came and inspected the house, gave us recommendations on what he thought would optimize our needs and even tried to accommodate a unit that we wanted. He went as far as to research it and find out about installation for us. In the end, we bought a carrier system that Advance sells. Installation was pretty seamless and efficient. The crew was very courteous, and if they had any questions or problems, they worked on it until the problem was resolved. They also put in wifi thermostats that communicated with my humidifier which has been fantastic. We have had the air purifier and humidifier now for about 3 months with no problems. My kids always comment on how fresh the air smells when we come back after a long trip and (knock on wood), have NO severe illnesses this winter. Also, my child has terrible winter skin due to dry air. The humidifier has added so much moisture in the air that he is much more comfortable. We are very happy with our system. This was turn key service for a very affordable rate. I had priced out the same system with other companies for several hundred dollars more and without the fabulous customer service I have received with Advance.
So far we are very happy with the service we have received. Rich has been out to our house multiple times and Rich and Justin came out for the pre-install. These guys are extremely friendly and have answered all of our questions and concerns. We are getting a whole house humidifier, an air knight purifier and a cor thermostat. All of these products, recommended by Rich, have 5 star reviews and we are excited to get them installed on Tuesday. They were able to schedule this sooner than we expected as well. The whole process has been excellent.
Customer requested fall preventative maintenance. Gas furnace and air conditioner were serviced and filters changed and pressures checked. System running great. Customer will recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling to all of his friends.
Customer called about water source heat pump not heating at times. Master service technician checked operation of system and cleaned water strainer. Strainer was found partially clogged. Recommend building maintenance should try to boost pressures and flow to this floor. Changed aux temperature sensor setting from 35 to 40 degrees. Problem resolved.
Customer called to have outdoor temperature sensor replaced. Part covered by warranty. Replaced and ran two cycles to test temperature. Problem fully resolved.
Customer called because her gas furnace is not maintaining temperature. Problem is intermittent. Found gas furnace locked out on a code. Gas Furnace runs for up to an hour then shuts down and restarts several times on a soft lockout then finally locking out on code 8 (5 faults in heat cycle) with a 1 hour lockout. Checked igniter, flame sensor, gas pressures, draft pressures, temp rise. After running for about 30 minutes, furnace locked out 5 times on pressure switch fault. Recommend replacing the pressure switch, and customer will address the gas pressure problem with his propane supplier. Temperature problem resolved. Customer will purchase preventive maintenance for regular maintenance. Customer will recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling to all of her friends.
Customer called for first floor not heating. Service technician diagnosed system lockout in fault history. System low on refrigerant from same factory braze joints. Added refrigerant and pressure checked system. All working well now. Customer will recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling.
Customer called because of having very dry air and poor air quality in home. Residential Solutions Manager went and recommended Carrier steam humidifier and Air Knight UV light system to increase humidity for respiratory health and clean the air. Customer accepted proposal and installation was completed. Customer extremely happy with the quality of care he received. Will highly recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling.
Customer called for service for water leak at boiler. Master service tech found boiler and piping dry upon arrival. There are traces of previous leakage leading to the auto vent and some water at the vent screw. Shut vent screw on auto vent and customer to watch for leak. Ran boiler and found system pressure went from 12 to 20 psi. Checked expansion tanks and the lower one is bad and should be replaced. Pressure may be swinging enough to make auto vent leak, but auto vent should be replaced as well. Customer complained of low flow of hot water. Tankless water heater coil in boiler appears to be clogged. Recommend replacing the coil. Parts will be ordered and replaced. Customer very satisfied with service and will highly recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling.
Customer called for winter preventative maintenance. Master service technician performed preventative maintenance, cleaned and tested geothermal loops, heat pump and no issues were found. Customer fully satisfied and gave 5 star rating to Advanced Heating & Cooling.
Customer called for service on first floor thermostat. Upon arrival, technician found thermostat blank with no power. Door switch not operating properly. Switch was rewired and reset. Problem fully resolved.
Customer requested service due to noisy coil. Checked operation on unit to investigate report by customer that there is a noise coming from the unit like something is out of balance or possibly loose. Inspected the blower compartment, blower housing and monitored the blower wheel while the unit was running. Cycled the unit on and off to watch it start from a stopped position. Service tech did not see hear anything out of the ordinary, no sign of vibration or rattling or anything loose. I also went to the outdoor unit and cycled that unit on and off a few times, there is nothing abnormal with the outdoor unit either. The house is very quiet, the unit is in the attic and sitting directly over the guest room where the noise is being heard, I believe it is just the normal sound but is carrying through the return and is causing it to be heard. Customer satisfied with diagnosis and will highly recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling.

Customer called due to no heat. Residential solutions manager went to home and provided a loaner portable heater. Service technician then went and found that hot surface igniter switch was bad. Gas furnace and air conditioning system, along with coil are all very aged. Service tech replaced igniter switch and system now runs. Recommend replacement with Goodman gas furnace, air conditioner, coil and Honeywell 4000 programmable thermostat. Home owner will advise on decision. Customer provided excellent service call feedback.
