CLIENT NEEDS MAILED COPY Duct Cleaning estimate provided today. Client only wants the duct cleaning estimate performed today. Inspected ductwork, attic insulation, checked for leaks, crushed ducts, restrictions, there are large amounts of dust build up and discoloration inside the ducts which should be cleaned. Ductwork is metal wrapped with insulation indicating ducts are original to the home with some minor modifications to accommodate new system recently installed. Ducts are resting on the trusses with no ducts strapped up as code here in north port requires. Due to age of ductwork, lack of strapped ductwork and not meeting code, recommend replacement of ductwork to give better airflow, lower utility bill, and extend life of new system recently installed. There are eleven supply vents with two return vents, client does not need dryer vent cleaned as it has recently been replaced with recent hurricane Ian repairs. System operations normal.

ESA 1-2 Maintenance performed today. Client doesn’t want to proceed with any recommendations as of today as she has other financial obligations. Checked system operations, tightened electrical connections, amp draws within range, 20x25x1 air filter to be replaced by client, recommend UV bulb should be replaced annually, drain pan treatment recommended for drain line, rinsed/deodorized indoor coils, flushed drain line with green cleaner and water. Client understands her ductwork needs attention and should be replaced. It is undersized and has water damage from being under the home. System operations normal.

Performed scheduled maintenance on 1 split system. Flushed and cleared drain pan and drain line with drain cleaner and water. Installed algae drain treatment that was not installed during installation. Did not change filter per customer request. Uv light was functioning and will be due for replacement during next maintenance visit. Cleaned evaporator and condenser coils. Customer stated that system has been struggling to satisfy temperature setting on thermostat, I reduced fan speed from medium high down to medium to help with this issue.
