As usual, Bay Area does a great job! Highly recommend them. The service man was courteous and did a wonderful job.
Got here right at 8 AM, did his work and on his way.
We had Dave check Freon which was up to specs. Dave also leak tested the A- coils and compressor and was not able to find any leaks. When the unit was installed the refrigerant lines were not replace since they run under the concrete floor through a conduit. We assume the lines are original and my be corroded and almost impossible to remove to install new lines but no one has attempted the task. We plan to have your company move the compressor off our patio and new lines installed at that time. However, we must gain approval and permits from On Top of the World Management. If they approve the move and issue a permit, we will contact you to complete the job.
Every step of the way was efficient and professional. Very pleased and would refer to anyone with confidence.
Have been a customer since 2012 and heartily recommend Bay Area! Thanks, Glenn!
NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A GREAT CHECK UP...I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND GLEN HOLSAPPLE.
I live out of the area and have a rental condo in Clearwater so can't be there for repairs and service issues that come up. I rely heavily on my local partners to be my eyes, ears and cover my back. Bay Area's service technician was there when he said he was and found the problem required a simple maintenance fix and gave me an overall diagnostic of my system. Keep doing what you're doing guys ~
Customer not home
Completed the maintenance inspection on system #1 Unable to get a hold of Elaine Cox. Ernie said the office would have to collect payment.

Replaced ecobee thermostat with nhp
Checked over the system and I found that the high humidity was due to user error. The customer had the Fan setting set to On to run continuously. This will add the humidity back to the house that the ac system just removed.

Spoke with David Deaner at Carrier about this problem while on site. Confirmed that system wire harness has 12 volts DC at blower motor . Wire harness has been replaced already. Customer has had no code 41 notifications for 3 days. Restarted and tested cooling.
Checked on the smell and water dripping noise. Found that the water dripping noise was due to the system not having a P-Trap which is sucking air from outside. Added a trap outside. Cleaned the evaporator coil in place. Also wiped down the air handler cabinet. The smell still maybe in the duct system which we did not have access to.
Found plug from Heat strip to transformer not making proper contact and getting no power to control voltage. Need new harness. System operating properly at this time. Installed new warranty heater and Harness. Tested and system is working properly.
Contacted David Deaner from Carrier about this on going problem. John Krapf knows about this also . Can not doing anything else at this time.
Recall. Customer keeps getting code 41 blower motor fault. Replaced motor and put original Infinity control back on wall. Tested cooling. 58MV660006 MOTOR

Found error code 41 and 40. Motor and board were replace on Aug 9. Temporarily installed controller at air handler on new wire. Also ordered new harness from motor to indoor board.
Ran full reinstall on Infinity heatpump system. Rewired 24 volt communication wire and float safety wire so they would be separated and not interfere with Infinity communication with system. Tested cooling and monitored system operation.
