Our air conditioning unit was not working correctly. I called the the service company left by the previous home owner. I was told that the compressor was gone and it needed to be replaced or replace the entire unit. Our neighbor referred us to Bay Area Air- I called and someone came out that day( this happened on a Saturday)- it was a “fried”wire and the compressor was fine. Once replaced, the unit started working. I am very grateful for the referral from my neighbor and will Definitely use Bay Area and recommend their services- the price difference-$50 for the wire repair +the service call versus a little under $3000 for a new compressor!’
