Shut off the main water supply valve to the home located in the basement and observed the meter to find no noticeable water leakage between the water meter and the home. Opened up the shut off valve on the main water supply to the home and walked back out to the meter to observe once again if there are signs of water leakage in the home, excluding the radiant heating on the lower level. After approximately 10 minutes, no signs of leakage noted at water meter. Per telephone conversation with Chris McQuiston, found out that the radiant heat is pressurized constantly, and therefore, the zone valves do not have to be turned on to check for leaks underneath the slab. The hot water heat system is pressurized at approximately 12 to 15 psi.
