Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. System has a large light off. Checked heat exchanger. Found that both chambers are rusted with deep etching. Checked and removed burners. Burners are very corroded and damaged. Unable to clean well due to the large amount of corrosion and rust. This is causing the flame to flower out across the heat exchanger. This is causing excess rusting and drop of efficiency. Igniter/flame rod is corroded. Igniter has etching and cracks starting to form. Found ventor motor bearings are very worn and this will cause the motor to seize. Found evidence of condensate leaking from behind and under ventor motor. Transition assembly may also be compromised. Found rusting in the blower compartment as well. Preformed combustion test. Found XS air to be higher than normal. Levels are around 175. No CO found in airstream.
