Ac clean and tune. Checked indoor coil with refrigerant sniffer, found indications of a leak on that coil. Cycled system. Hooked up gauges and and found indoor coil temp was 25, subcooling was 25. System is low on refrigerant. Condenser coil is plugged, refrigerant level is low enough that this did not get the head pressures up. Checked indoor cooling. Found split to be 10 degrees. Average life of this unit is 14 years, this system is 30+ years old and in very poor condition. Due to age, condition, and cost to repair, second opinion is recommended. System is not cooling at this time. Job complete. No charges pending results of second.
