They said the unit was not cooling yesterday but they turned it on this morning and it’s cooling. I checked the pressures and found the suction side low. Did not see any obvious refrigerant leaks. Temperature split is 18°, Inside I found the filter grill with no filter in it. I opened the top of the package and found the evaporator coil extremely dirty. Dirty coil could definitely be caused by no filters, and dirty coil can definitely cause low suction pressure and loss of cooling capacity. Recommended an evaporator coil cleaning.
