Plumber, plumbing, Toilet Repair : Flange Repair/extension (basic). Upon arrival customer stated that their basement bathroom toilet wasn’t installed by another warranty contractor because they stated that they didn’t know how to replace a bad flange. Upon inspection I found the flange was already removed from the drain pipe and on the floor. I cleaned up the debris that was around the drain stack, drilled holes in concrete, took PVC primer and throughly clean the outside of the stack, primed the new flange and glued the flange to the stack. Once down, took large head philip screws and secured the flange to the floor. Put jonnie bolts down, put wax ring down, set toilet and secured it to flange. Put new supply line on, turned on water, adjusted float for proper water height. Flushed toilet, checked for leaks and proper operation. OK.
