Springtime HVAC Repair for a residential customer near Castle Hills. Came out on service call for upstairs unit. Found: Very dirty 16x25x1 upstairs unit. [Can use 16x25x4 filter instead of 1 inch] Very dirty 20x25x1 downstairs unit. [Can use 20x25x4 filter instead of 1 inch] Very dirty condenser coils for upstairs and downstairs units. Bad 35/5 run capacitor on unit 2 downstairs unit. Bubble tested high side and found leak at shradder valve. Need to pump change filters, clean condensers, pump down unit and evacuate, change valve stems, pull vacuum on unit, release refrigerant and charge unit up with 410a to correct pressures. No surge protection on units incase power surge will damage your motors or control boards or even a compressor. No IAQ (air purifier) for indoor air quality.
