Dallas resident wanting an estimate and Upon arrival found system cooling. Homeowner stated that the thermostat would lose power, turned system on and checked indoor unit, found water in emergency pan but trap was empty. After letting system run found that the main drain line was stopped up causing float switch to turn off thermostat. Checked outdoor units pressures, amp draws and capacitor all looked good. System appears to be tied into tub drain somewhere. Homeowner said that the tub has been draining slow. Homeowner wanted to get a plumber out to look at tub drain first.
Commercial service call in Dallas Upon arrival found food room not cooling. Checked condenser on roof top and found contactor pulled in but unit not running. Found that the system had a bad 70/5 dual run cap. Replaced cap and system came on. Checked amp draws and pressures, checked supply air 57 and return air at 77. System is now cooling properly at this time.
Springtime Air Conditioning Repair for a residential customer near Wolf Creek. Upon arrival found the system not cooling as well as it should. Checked inside unit and found everything operational, checked inside evaporator coil and found two big oil spots on bottom front left and right corners. Homeowner stated that they put refrigerant in it two weeks ago and reading pressures now system is a little low. Checked what kind of warranty system has and system is still under parts and labor warranty but only has 3 months left. Parts and labor are covered if repair is done by a York dealer. Only parts are covered if work is performed by a non-authorized dealer. Gave estimate for warranty repairs since were a Lennox dealer. Recommended homeowner getting a York dealer out to replace the evaporator coil.
