Upon arrival turned system on and could hear compressor making a loud grinding noise, hooked up gauges and system was not moving refrigerant. Scrolls inside compressor had busted and compressor would have to be replaced. System has a txv and with scrolls busted fragments may have been sent up to the txv, txv will need to be changed out as well. Parts ordered from Lennox in Allen, compressor will be at the Allen store in the morning. Parts and labor are covered under warranty. Upon arrival removed all refrigerant from system, cut out old filter dryer and brazed out old compressor. Installed new filter dryer and compressor while purging with nitrogen. Unbolted old txv And installed new txv. Pressure tested system at 175psi and pressures held. Released nitrogen and pulled vacuum down to 500 microns. Added a total of 8.5lbs to set charge. Checked static pressures and lowered blower speed down to medium high. Checked amp draws. System is now operating properly at this time. Compressor was
