Upon arrival found upstairs unit off. Turned system on and checked inside unit. Found everything operational but filter was caved in. Pulled filter out and filter didn’t appear dirty but once light shines through you could see where filter was getting clogged up. Took filter out and checked pressures outside. Pressures looked ok but sub cooling was low. Outdoor temp was 68* covered condenser and pressures rose up like they should. Subcool went up from 1.7 to 11 and superheat went from 16 to 4. Checked all duct work and dampers, ductwork was sealed up properly and all dampers were open. Checked blower speed and found it on the high speed. Tried adding a little Freon to see if sh&sc would get better and it dropped super heat to 14 and subcool to a 2.6. Took sensing bulb off and rechecked pressures and pressures did not adjust system has a bad txv. Coil was replaced last year in October. Coil still under one year warranty. Will order txv from Lennox. Part ordered in Allen on will call.
