Performed preventative maintenance for a Goodman AC system. Model #GSX140601KD, serial #2006201187. Upon arrival the system was set for heat so I powered down the thermostat. I powered the system down and removed the access panel. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. I tested the drain pan, drain line and condensate pump with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. The homeowner has a Honeywell electronic air cleaner but is putting a 16x25x1 air filter inside. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for AC and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coils are dirty but in fair condition. The condenser amp draws are 1.1 for the fan and 7.3 for the compressor. The temperature split is at 16° differential.
