Performed preventative maintenance for a carrier heat pump. Serial #2514A68878 model #FB4CNF018. Upon arrival I powered the system down and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are dirty and should be cleaned (see photos). The homeowner is currently re renovating the home and there is construction going on. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The heat kit coils are in good condition. Tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I re attached the access panels and called for heat. I observed the system starting normally. The supply temp is at 121°F. I went on the roof to inspect the heat pump. The condenser coils are clean and in good condition. All electrical connections are secure and in good condition. The condenser amp draws are 4.7 for the compressor and .32 for the fan. The heat for the system is operating properly at this time.
