I changed the 18x18x1 filter, I also added evaporator coil water treatment tablets on the evaporator coil pan. I also made sure the system is draining properly. The temperature split was 16 degrees.Then I performed a amperage readings on the compressor and condenser fan motor both are operating high. The compressor is rated for 8 running at 9.8 and the fan motor is running at 1.3 and rated for 1.2. Also, the thermostat button were hard to operate but the customer did not want to replace it. The unit is very old and should be replaced in the near future
