Performed preventative maintenance for a York AC system. Model #YCD48B21SA, serial #W1K6015752. Upon arrival the system was calling for heat. I powered down both thermostats and the system. I removed the access panels and inspected the system. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. Tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. The air filter size 20x25x1 was recently replaced. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for AC and observed the system starting normally. Upon the system starting I noticed a lot of noise coming from the blower compartment. I took an amp draw of the blower motor and found that it is over amping. This is causing the blower to shake the whole cabinet. The condenser coils are clean and in good condition.
