Came out to survey the location. Tom manages the property. He stated all 5 systems are under maintenance agreements with another local contractor, however they don’t provide air duct cleaning services. He only had a few minutes because he had to return to work and was not able to go over options. We can provide a quote to do air duct cleaning. Tom stated he has to run the quote by the property owner first before signing off on anything. N/C, survey.

Came out today for a no heat call on a York furnace model #gy9s100c20up11j, serial number w0f6542642. I noticed that the blower motor was pulling a high amp draw and was not operating when there is a call for heat. I replaced the motor run capacitor and got the blower to start. The blower motor is making a loud grinding noise and will soon burn out. I recommend replacing the blower motor for a more permanent fix. The capacitor is a temporary fix to allow the home to heat.
Heater issue service call. Found a large hole in inducer housing. Heavy corrosion and wear on the furnace. Advised homeowner that repair may not be recommended however we will provide a quote for repair. Verified combustion at CO PPM 36 before entertaining a repair quote. We will also provide a quote for furnace only, as coil and condenser are about 5 years old. Collected diagnostic charge of $125 today. Homeowner will decide on repair vs. replacement even though repair estimate is marked sold. PA has reached out to distributors and waiting to see if parts are available for this unit. Ballpark furnace only quotes of $7300-$6800 discussed on Trane/Goodman 80% 120K-5 style units. Proposal can be generated upon request.
