After consulting with Lennox FSR, we were advised to look for any splices are areas where water could build up within the wire casing as it can cause electrical interference. I observed a spot outside where this could be a potential issue. I made an adjustment to the low voltage wire so water can not build up. The error code that continues to occur is a “13” which means loss of communication with outdoor unit. Please not the homeowner was going to cancel the call, however I was only 7 minutes away when he called to say it was working again. If the problem occurs again we will be replacing the thermostat with a Honeywell T4 to put this issue to rest. Homeowner would like to monitor the thermostat in place for now. Quote emailed for new thermostat. N/C, today as we did not find a definite issue. Lennox M#XC17-042-230-05, S#5812G03719.
