Investigated “noise” from gas boiler. Homeowner reported “noise” hasn’t happened the past week. Performed a routine maintenance inspection to verify safety. Combustion analysis CO PPM 13, 78.9% efficiency, limit setpoint at 180, 20 PSI water pressure. Cycled boiler to verify limit is working. Pulled burners and cleaned out burner compartment. There is some signs of “wear” on rear boiler jacket. Boiler is functional and operational. Advised homeowner that boiler upgrade would be recommended in the future. Weil McLain CGM-5-PI, CP6608225.
