Performed preventative maintenance on a Goodman AC system. Model number: GSX130421BF , serial number: 1701033130. Upon arrival the system was turned off at the thermostat. I powered the system down at the furnace and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. I tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. While working on the AC system I smelled a small amount of gas. I checked all gas connections and found a small leak in the union. I was able to tighten the union and stop the leak. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I replaced the merv10 air filter size 16x25x4 supplied by the homeowner. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for AC and observed the system starting normally. The blower motor amp draw is at 4.86 amps.
