Came out today for a leaking issue on a split system. Upon arrival I was able to witness the leak myself. I explained to Matt that it was a poor location for a install. The sprinkler system and return duct make it extremely hard to get the access panels off. I disconnected the return duct and removed the access panels. I was able to see a lot of debris in the condensate pan. I vacuumed out what I could and flushed the rest with water. I also replaced the drain line and added a union to make it easier to clean in the future. Remove and replace the drain line. Add a trap and union. The union will allow better access for cleaning.
