Came out today for a leaking hot water heater. Upon inspection there was no water on the floor or around the hot water heater. The insulation at the top and bottom of the system are both dry. There is also no signs of water in the drain pan for the hot water heater. It is possible that the water came from the relief valve but there are no signs of water there as well. The hot is from 2018 but was not installed by chud. The homeowner will assess the system for the next couple days. I will leave the homeowner with a replacement quote.
