Performed preventative maintenance for a 3 year old Goodman heat pump. Model #GSZ140301, serial #1908027860. Upon arrival I turned the thermostat to the off position. I powered down the air handler and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. I tested the drain line and drain pan with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I replaced the 16x20x1 air filter Chud supplied. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The blower motor and wheel are both clean and in good condition. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for AC and observed the system starting normally. The heat pump coils are dirty and could be cleaned. The heat pump amp draws are .80 for the fan and 5.69 for the compressor. The temperature split is at a 19° differential. The system is operating properly at this time.
