Return visit for the same issue. High pressure fault. Reset sensor. Checked capacitor (70+10MFD) and it is still good. Amperage on condenser fan is 1.0, rated for 1.7. Amperage on compressor is 14.2, rated for 21.79. The refrigerant pressures on arrival were within range 336/124, however it did observe (1) spike in head pressure to about 400 PSI, then system pressures leveled back out. The subcooling is high at 22 degrees, superheat good at 14 degrees. ***Note that sealant and 4 lbs were added on 05/23/19 and charge has not been touched since that date.*** Based on the numerous high pressure strikes, the device may actually be the issue. I will follow up with homeowner with a quote to install a new sensor and we will monitor the issue from there. Refrigerant charge will be checked again as well.
