Manufacturer Coleman Model # CF36CXA1A1 Serial # W1A9537533 Customer said air conditioning was not working properly. The system is completely empty of 4-10a refrigerant. Using the leak detector I found the leak in the evaporator. We will need to replace the evaporator coil and fill with the proper amount of refrigerant. Then perform a air conditioner maintenance making sure all components are operating properly. Customer had a parts and labor warranty. He will only need to pay for a maintenance or chud club maintenance membership.
Performed preventative maintenance a Coleman AC system. Model #Tc4b3621h, serial #W1d8715605. Upon arrival the system was set to off at the thermostat. I went into the attic where the air handler is located. (Very tight fit in the attic, recommend a shorter technician. I powered the system down and removed the access panel. The blower motor and blower wheel are both clean and in good condition. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition as well. I tested the drain pan and drain line with several Bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The air filters go in the return vents in the hallway. There are 2 return vents filter size 11x24x1. I re attached the access panels and powered the system backup. I called for ac and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coils are clean and in great condition. Th3 capacitor is slightly rusted out. The condenser amp dra
Performed preventative maintenance on a Lennox AC unit. Model number: 14ACXS030-230A23. Serial number: 1918K34429. Upon arrival the unit was off at the thermostat. I turned the unit on at the thermostat and adjusted the temperature to keep the AC running. Went downstairs to the unit and watched it run. I turned the unit off at the furnace. Removed the panel to the evaporator coil and inspected the coil for any dust build up. I poured water into the condensate trap and watched the water drain properly. I poured water into the condensate pump and watched the water pump out properly. Removed the panels to the furnace and checked the blower motor and wheel for any dust build up. I checked the capacitor on the blower wheel. Checked all electrical connections to make sure they were properly secure. Replaced the 16x25x1 filter supplied by the homeowner. Took an amp draw of the motor, 3.8 amps. Placed the panels back on and turned the unit on at the furnace. Went outside to the condenser and
Model # GCGD36S21S2B Serial # W1D1919070 Customer has no air conditioning I could not get a hold of the home owner but her brother was their. The capacitor was bad. I replace the capacitor and the system is leaking. But it is a r22 system. I explained to the brother the system should be replaced because of the age and refrigerant type. This system is not going to cool properly. Customer want to see if it works before they think about replacement we should try and reach out to the owner of this property
Customer wanted a ptac unit. I recommend a mini split. Customer was not interested.
Manufacturer Lennox Model # 14ACX-030-230-11 Serial # 1911H22000 Completed a preventative maintenance on a Lennox unit. The temperature split on the unit was 23. Customer changed the 16x20x1. Performed AC maintenance on main house AC and sunroom AC. Checked amperage draw on both indoor blower motors and outdoor compressors and all are within safe operating range. Checked both outdoor capacitors and the one for the sunroom was reading low and was really rusty so I replaced with a new 40+1 capacitor. Changed merv 16 filter in main house system and 16x25x1 filter on sunroom system. Cleared both condensate drains and they are both draining properly. Investigated noise in sunroom and it isn’t making any noise upon my arrival. It could have been a possible twig that fell in the condenser fan motor blade or vibrating from the line set in basement that the customer heard. It is NOT making that sound as of now. Re-leveled sunroom condenser with rubber pads because it was leaning towards the house. Tested and cycled both systems and they are both operating properly at this time.
