Came out to perform diagnostic work on a Crown boiler that Chud installed in 2006. The unit has outdated Honeywell style zone valves and lots of rust and wear. We located a thermostat in a portion of the home that the homeowner doesn’t use, which turned out to be a heating thermostat. As soon as we turned it on the cold radiators started to heat up. The homeowner had to leave for work and we were not able to spend any additional time with diagnostic today. I advised the homeowner that the boiler should be upgraded due to age and condition. The homeowner advised me that he will reach back out to us if he needs additional services.
