Returned to complete the leak investigation to make sure the evaporator is the only place the unit is leaking. Thoroughly went through the heat pump to check for leaks. Found no leaks at the outdoor unit. Electronic leak detector went off on the inner side of the evaporator coil. To fix this issue we will need to replace the evaporator coil. Pump down the existing refrigerant and add additional if needed. Perform pressure test and pull a deep vacuum to 500 microns. Test system when completed evaporator coil itself is under manufacturer warranty. Collect balance due when repair is completed. We will contact the customer when coil comes in for repair time and date. System is operating properly at this time due to refrigerant added Tuesday this week.
