At 1:30 on a Sunday morning, with temps outside at 10 degrees, I realized my furnace was not working. Sean responded to his emergency pager and was in my basement by 3 a.m.and was able to get the furnace working at a lower stage. Despite being awakened from a sound sleep and having to drive many miles in frigid weather, he was both pleasant, efficient, and competent. New parts had to be ordered, which was done early on Monday morning, and they were installed by Sean as soon as they came in several days later. In the meantime, I had a reasonable level of heat and much less stress.

Customer complaint: very loud noise when pump started on Sunday. Customer turned off system when she heard the noise. Current ambient: 27. I went through thermostat set up screens to lower balance point setting to test heat pump. Heat pump is operating normally with no unusual noises at this time. Heat pump may have had ice forming on top or on fan blades and causing loud racket. System amps: 13. Voltage: 238. Suction pressure: 71(15).
