This was the first time John came to do the maintenance on my furnace. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I have used metal tape to seal up a lot of duct work, he pointed out other areas to seal that no other technician had shown me.

We've been using Classic Aire Care for a couple of years. We signed up for their maintenance program where they show up every quarter to look over our equipment, change filters, clean blowers and compressors, and make sure the system is working up to standards. They are quick to point out potential issues and give an estimate to how much life might be left in a questionalble component. They've never been wrong and our heating and AC have always performed flawlessly, winter and summer! Can't say enought good things about these find folks.

Roger always does a great job at servicing my furnace. He explained in detail some upcoming repair work that I will have done also. Scott was here also servicing my plumbing. he also explained in detail the replacement of my water heater, and modifications to be made to fit the new one in the space. he and Roger worked together on the scope of the job to be done as it will involve some modifications needed to my heating ducts too. it was great that they were both here at the same time to discuss the job.

Checked heat pump system. Replaced air filter. found system low on Freon! Performed Freon leak search. Discovered indoor coil leaking bad on left side near the bottom. I picked up a new coil at Lennox. Pumped down system. Removed and replaced coil using nitrogen purge and brazing alloy. Evacuated lower side. Recharged in cooling mode. Compressor: 4.4A. Condenser fan: 0.77A . ambient: 62. liquid line: 68 suction line: 38-45 . CC: 72. metering device: TXV . Suction pressure: 106(34). head pressure: 208(72). Return air: 67 . supply air: 42 . wet bulb: 50.
Customer explained that moaning noise that lasts about two seconds occurs periodically, about 20 seconds after burners light but before blower comes on. Noise would not appear! Replaced air cleaner media. I secured furnace bottom. Adjust blower speeds. Calibrated humidy reading. We heard a very faint noise once, several seconds before blower came on while standing by thermostat.

Has reciprocating compressor with a non-equalizing metering device! I installed a start assist kit to ensure compressor starts every time. Has very thick condenser coil and very dirty. Back-flushed condenser coil with Water-Saber.
