Finished installing new Daikin 16 SEER heat pump system for customer in Nassau Bay. Old system was 14 years old and had major compressor failure. New installation included complete replacement of indoor air handler, outdoor heat pump unit, and refrigerant lines due to conversion from R-22 to R-410A system. Upgraded electrical service to accommodate higher efficiency equipment and installed new programmable Wi-Fi thermostat. Modified existing plenum and return air drop to improve airflow characteristics. Added proper equipment disconnects and surge protection at both indoor and outdoor units. Performed vacuum test on new refrigerant lines to ensure system integrity before charging. System started up perfectly with proper superheat and subcooling values. All operational parameters within manufacturer specifications. Walked homeowner through new thermostat programming and maintenance requirements.
