Recommend installing overflow protection switch in drain line to serve as a backup to primary water safety switch and to help prevent water overflow into return plenum and ductwork. Recommend installing surge protection to protect equipment from power surges. Recommend hard start kit to reduce load on compressor so it starts smoother, runs smoother and therefore lasts longer.
