Reece is very personable and found several issues with our Aprilaire 5000 electronic air filter, which was not working, which apparently our regular cooling and heating maintenance service only partialliy corrected or failed to correct at all.
I called with a concern, and received fast reliable service. Phillip remembered coming out previously, and addressed our current concerns professionally.
The repairman and the company were able to work with me in terms of my time restraints/they were really accommodating. The problem was quickly identified and solution solution rendered.
First service I ever had performed at my home where I felt the person actually knew exactly what they were doing

Performed 1 system a/c maintnenace. Changed filter. 20x20x1. Added bleach tablets to drain line. Cleared drain line. Cleaned outdoor unit. System operating properly at this time.
Upstairs system needs secondary water safety installed inline with the pvc. Black mold growth inside supply plenum. Recommend installing u/v lighting system to kill mold and bacteria. Evaporator coil showing advanced signs of wear and will need to be replaced soon. Down stairs system showing thick black mold growth. Recommend u/v lighting for that system as well. Condensate pump sits outside of pan, if pump safety fails it will flood basement recommend small pan just for pump and water safety switch. Outdoor units both slightly low on charge. Both capacitors are metering writhing acceptable ranged but have extensive corrosion. Units are 12 years old. Recommend hard start kits to lower start up amp drawl and noise. Cooling is operating normal at this time. Changed upstairs filter, downstairs filter was clean. Added bleach to drain lines and pump.
Performed 1 system A/C maintenance. Changed filter. Cleared drain line. Checked electrical systems for normal operation. Refrigerant levels are normal. System operating properly at this time.
1 system a/c tune up. Replaced clogged air cleaner and replaced uv light bulb. Air handler needs another apco uv light on other side of evaporator coil. Overall system is cooling normal
2 system ac tune upl. Replaced upstairs filter and the downstairs air cleaner still good. Suggest to add uv light for both coils to prevent bacteria and mold. Overall both system cooling normal
Check and find apco STRT ballast burnt. Need to order under part warranty and repalce for customer. Give customer estimate.
Job was cancelled. Reopened for damage report form. Management called customer back personally.
2 system heating pm check complete. Changed main level filter and left replacement for basement filter. Upstairs/ Main level zoned furnace- tested mechanical and electrical components. Found no mechanical issues, however I did find high carbon monoxide levels reading at 158 ppm. Recommend recalibration to reduce co. Evaporater coil is rusty and corroded. Basement heatpump system- tested mechanical and electrical components and found burnt voltage distribution system, component is functional but could fail or weld itself together at any time. Recommend repair. Voltage absorption system is running weak putting a strain on the compressor/ fan. Recommend repair. Did a combustion recalibration on upstairs/ main level furnace and reduced carbon monoxide levels to 18 ppm. Systems are heating at this time.
Performed 1 system a/c maintnenace. Changed filter to 16x20x1. Flushed drain line. Tested and examined blower compartment for normal operation. Cleaned outdoor unit. Recommend surge protector and compressor saver to ensure long unit life and safety. System operating properly at this time.
Replaced fan board and system is operating normal at this time. Signed customer up for maintenance plan. Will have office call to schedule maintenance.
Replaced heat sequencer and system isn't heating constantly anymore. However fan spins continuously so replacing the control board with fan module is necessary. Will return to replace board. Deducted service call cost from last visit.
Replaced 1/2 hp motor and blower motor controller and system is heating at this time. Applied previous service charge towards repair.
No heat again. Check and did not find problems at this time but did fail tstat lose signal. Replace tstat with aprilaire 8466. System operating at this time but will need to keep check on the inducer motor.
2 heat pump Tune Up/Maintenance check complete. Left customer with replacement filters. Tested upstairs system and found no issues. Main level air handler has a fault in the blower motor controller and a dirty blower wheel. Recommend repair and cleaning. Main level thermostat is not designed for a heat pump system, so it is only utilizing aux heat. Outdoor unit reversing valve is stuck in ac mode so that is probably why that thermostat is in place. Compressor and fan have high amp draw indicating wear. Fins are worn. Due to age and condition of system, recommend upgrading to a more reliable and efficient system.
