Earlier today, I conducted the annual maintenance service on a Lennox Elite Series air conditioner at a residence in Buford, GA. I began by thoroughly cleaning the outdoor condenser unit, removing any debris and clearing obstructions around the coil. I then checked the refrigerant charge, adding 8 oz of R-410A to reach the proper level. Next, I replaced the 1-inch MERV 8 air filter and inspected the blower assembly, ductwork, and electrical components. Finally, I cycled the system through its operating modes to verify proper cooling, heating, and airflow throughout the home. The system is now running at peak efficiency, just in time for the Georgia summer.
