A/c repair in Dunwoody. Discovered system leaking refrigerant from evaporator coil, no drain line water safety on system, system needs compressor saver to reduce stress on compressor and routine maintenance. Homeowner has approved all repairs and it’s paid in full. Charged system up for temporary cooling. After charging system back up for temporary cooling the compressor made a completely abnormal bang and stopped pumping. Disconnected power from compressor, checked components, waited a few minutes, reconnected power and compressor operating normal again. Will need 2 in pvc couplings for job as the furnace vent is blocking coil access.
