Totally dependable; extremely satisfactory!

Comfort Matters is a delightfully dependable company with extraordinary employees. We have been happy customers for years, and Nick M is one of the best reasons why. He is extremely knowledgeable, proficient, and engagingly personable. We plan to remain with Comfort Matters for as long as we need a furnace and air conditioner…which in MN means FOREVER! 🤗

Winter season service.

Was called that service could be fine earlier then scheduled and the technician was able to do the inspection and repairs while I was out that was great. Found early indication of a future problem and promptly respired it. Finally technician communicated several times with me to keep me informed. I thought service was great.

Amazing company offering stellar service!

Every experience with this company is stellar! Everybody, at all points of contact, is highly focused on providing top notch customer service. Today, we had an old heat pump system removed and a new furnace and separate air conditioner installed. Nick, and his assistant Connor, were as always, professional, knowledgeable, proficient, neat and personable. Nick has been our annual tuneup technician in the past, but has obviously increased his training and skill level, as demonstrated by his expert installation and follow up instructions on our new systems. We are BEYOND satisfied with Comfort Matters, with their team of talented employees, and Nick is a prime example!!!

Awesome customer service, all down the line!!!

From the office personnel, to the service technicians, to the service itself, a stellar experience! We received pictures and bios of the technicians who were scheduled to arrive at our house as introductions, which I love! Jordan was a miracle worker, who responded immediately with a rapid remedy, when our AC went out. Then we were lucky enough to have him return to do our winter furnace assessment. He is personable, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and informative.Tony, who delivered and installed a part that Jordan had identified as potentially problematic for the AC, was also very knowledgeable, and tolerant as well, allowing us to closely observe his work, while patiently explaining every step of the way, as we plagued him with questions. We are delighted with our experiences with Comfort Matters, and that has kept us as satisfied customers for many years!

Potential property buyer called us to come out and perform a visual inspection of the entire boiler and furnace system. After assessing the boiler I determined that it is in relatively “ok” shape, i do highly recommend having a tuneup performed to clean off the burners and check the combustion levels. When looking at the furnaces at Biggs & Co I found that both exhaust vents on the furnaces were leaking water, creating soot, and the venting was not even connected, therefore letting the exhaust fumes leak into the building. I highly recommend having the replaced and fixed as soon as possible. This is a safety hazard and I believe the system should not even run until the venting issues is addressed. Both furnaces have been red tagged and gas has been shut off. Once the necessary repairs are completed then the systems can be turned back on.

Customer had explained that water heater was not operating and heating water. When I evaluated water heater, I found that the tank was failed. This means somewhere through tank it is cracked me leaking water. This is not reapairable. The water heater has to be replaced. Customer paid half down for new water heater installation. Rest will be collected at install.

Boiler precision tune up; clean and tune up boiler; check/verify water pressure, inspect and clean burners, test ignition components, test/adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check motors and pumps, checked all electrical components, checked heating temperatures, test combustion, and tested overall boiler operation. Removed gas line running to the dryer, cut out the crimped section and re-flared this end. Attach gas line to the dryer and the incoming gas line. While reseating the dryer the gas line did slightly twist and cave in, used channel locks to remove the caved in section as best as possible. Tested for gas leaks and once I confirmed there were no gas leaks i got confirmation from the customer that everything looked good.

Customer explained center point was out recently and stated compressor was shorted to ground. Went to ac unit and compressor was unplugged and disconnect was laying on the ground. Tested compressor and did find it shorted to ground. Repair options at this point are compressor replacement of replacement of ac unit itself. My recommendation is replacement of unit. Current unit is out of warranty, and replacing compressor will not fix any other parts that could potentially fail. Informed customer I would get him quote for compressor replacement.

Returne to give second opinion on furnace combustion issues. I found that gas pressure was set at 4.5 inwc. This is far too high. Adjusted gas pressure to manufacture specifications and CO levels in flue pipe dropped. Furnace is still operating between 280-320ppm in flue pipe. This is still very high level for furnace. After checking all combustion components, there was no other issue. We Would have to start replacing part by part to determine issue. Due to the age of the system that is far from recommended. Certified that furnace is safe to operate at this time per Code. Water heater venting needed to be re pitched to avoid red tag of water heater. Venting now correct.
