AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Found the unit did not start up once homeowner had turned system on at thermostat. Found the system had proper low voltage going to the outdoor unit. Checked all switches and sensors to make sure there wasn’t an issue and found no discrepancies. Checked with tech support and they stated it was a faulty defrost control board. Also found the furnace filter was causing a high restriction in airflow, lastly noticed the motor starter was heavily damaged and could cause major issues to the system.
