Very courteous respectful they took their time and they got it done I was very happy; I work in the service industry also and to say above average is wonderful and really what every company should strive for excellence is going above and beyond like 30 below and coming out and fixing a furnace in the middle of the night that’s excellent so those two as a team did great

Daniel Larsen was very professional. Besides the furnace tube up, he made sure my co2 detector was current. He also answered a question I had with my ac. As far as price, the furnace tune up was covered under the service plan we purchased from Comfort Matters. As for convenience, Comfort Matters keeps calling the wrong number to notify me when the techs are on the way to my house, so I’m not aware of when they are coming. My husband has call me from work, because they call him instead of me.

AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Blower wheel in furnace is dirty reducing air flow/efficiency, pulled and cleaned blower wheel. Reassemble and tested operation. Duct cleaning will be performed at a different appointment time.
Found the fan limit switch to be faulty, got the wrong part and will need to place the correct part on order tomorrow morning. Collected half down for repair.

Upstairs Moen single handle tub shower faucet was hard to operate needing to be replaced or rebuilt. This is why the handle kept coming off, and the temperature was off due to crossover between hot and cold. Replaced tub shower faucet through the backside which required making a hole in the wall we do not repair. I also had to cut the cement board and shower wall carefully so the new fixture could be installed properly. Checked for leaks and siliconed around trim. Toilet is very old upstairs and she wanted to replace it. I pulled the toilet and found that the flooring was redone, and 3/4” subfloor added over old linoleum without ever removing the toilet. It was just cut around it. The toilet flange is below the finished floor and has been repaired. Flange is supposed to be resting on the finished floor which is not here. To install the toilet properly the flooring would need to be done and the flange replaced and raised. His was declined and she preferred me to cut the the newer floor

Installed Drain pan treatment to prevent biological growth and help keep the drain line clear and Diamond screen to prevent small animals from getting into the exhaust pvc pipe and damaging the furnace.

Found the pipe insulation had deteriorated and fell apart closer to the outdoor unit. Replaced to increase cooling efficiency. Lastly found the blower wheel to be extremely dirty. This will decrease airflow and could cause major issues. Pulled and cleaned he blower to increase airflow and also increase the efficiency of cooling inside the home. All other recommendations declined at this point. With age and efficiency loss, replacement would be encouraged soon.
