Customer has a leak on the water main. Water service is 1” blue poly. Water main valve is threaded 1”. Water pressure is 80 psi which is the maximum allowable per code. I called the city for the location of the water main curb stop which cannot be seen. The neighbors is in their driveway. The water service needs to be located and shut off by the city prior to any repairs. They said they would locate it and call me, but then never returned my call. When I called back I got the voicemail for the water department, and found out the person that answers their phone went to lunch. I also placed calls to locate the materials needed for the repair on this type and size of water main. Please call us back to reschedule once the main curb stop has been located.
