Performed ac diagnostic, 20+ yr old Goodman split system upflow garage, back yard. Found system running just fan. Still have cracked top of condenser. Found bad compressor capacitor 40@.8 Renewal of annual membership contract Replaced Capacitor 40 Is the system still low on refrigerant? Or is the furnace blower capacitor low as well. Was 10@8.8 Refrigerant pressures above freezing on 100 degree day, pressures low but holding. Blower next thing to have issue. Unit start amps also an issue system didn’t fire up first try took a few attempts. Clients want to wait a yr for replacement. No gaurentees with age of equipment but did the bare minimum today to try and get the system running a little longer.
