Customer has a running toilet, upon diagnosis determined the flapper is not seating correctly. Customer also wanted us to change the fill valve which he provided. Removed the flapper and fill valve, installed the new flapper and fill valve. Toilet is not running and it flushes perfectly.
Customer has a leaking shower they want new trim and cartridge, and two leaking lavatory faucets they want installed. The faucets will need new angle-stops, presented the estimates to the customer and they want to go with another plumbing company.
Customer has the master bathroom toilet not flushing and the issue has spread to the hall bathroom toilet as well. Ran the camera and spotted the clog back towards the home, ran the snake and got stuck in the line. Finally got the snake loose and ran the camera down the line again, this time the camera revealed roots and a break in the sewer line under the home. For diagnosis purposes ran the camera and located where the block is in the connection of the toilets to the main sewer down the middle of the home. Augered the back bathroom toilet and pulled back massive roots, left estimate to jackhammer the concrete and repair the sewer line accounting for two days worth of work with two techs. Customer will contact us for work after she gets approval from her insurance.

Performed whole house plumbing inspection. Checked all fixtures in the house, and performed a tankless descale on Navien unit. In the master bathroom I found under the sink customer has old style corrugated lines that are the all in one type shutoff valves. I recommended replacement due to these being prone to fail. In the hallway bathroom I found the p-trap under the sink was not up to code. It was the accordian style p-trap which also prone to getting waste stuck in the recesses. Also in the hallway bathroom I found that the fill valve on the toilet was incomplete and causing water to flow into the tank itself instead of bowl filler tube, and is degrading, and made recommendations to the customer of these issues. Customer declined at this time. Emailed customer the plumbing inspection report, pictures, and thanked customer for choosing Crystal Blue Plumbing Heating and Air.
