Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of a main water leak. Technician arrived to find that where main water enters home at rear of property has a split in the PVC male fitting tying into a brass ball valve. client said he accidentally hit it a couple days ago when mowing his lawn. he wrapped a significant amount of duct tape around the break to attempt to mitigate the leak. When technician originally inspected The leak was flowing at a rate of approximately 2 to 3 gallons a minute. Technician used nearby piece of pipe to attempt to brace line. This significantly reduced the leak to a much smaller dribble approximately a gallon per hour. Client lives on an acre property that is overgrown. he believes the meter is at the rear fence line of the property. client and his son are going to go out with mowers and weed wackers to break down foliage and locate meter.
