Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of problem with gas at outdoor fire pit. Upon investigation technician learned from client that fire pit was just installed by a contractor in the last couple of weeks. Contractor ran dedicated 1-in line underground to fire pit. but where it pokes out of the concrete the fire pit is created from it is only 3/4. That three-quarter line then connects to a 36-in flexible supply line which then hooks into a three-ring fire pit burner. Client stated her main concern is just that the flames are relatively short. Client was expecting a larger amount of fire for the pit she had installed. Technician doesn't believe there's anything wrong with the gas system. Technician believes the main problem lies with the actual burner itself due to the size and design of it. Technician stated he could simply do something as small as replace the flexible line or provide quotes for replacing the whole burner.
