Replacement of existing whole house fan for same style, ordered part... part came wrong they sent a 30†whole house fan labeled as a 36†not going to work. Got system up and running temporarily. While we get new fan shipped in. I had already removed unit by the time the new one showed up onsite, so we reinstalled old fan louvers. They are not closing as well as they should. If you notice it’s open will need to manually close them. Ordering new one today, looking at another 2 weeks for delivery, will be trying to get it here faster. Will call once we have the right one in hand. If we need to come back out and reset motor, we will at no cost while we are waiting for the right part to show up. Also old unit wasn’t installed correctly. Not attached correctly to opening, and drywall is cracking on corner which makes me think it might not be mounted up they right, when we install new unit the guys will re screw everything together to be safe.
