Tested defrost cycle defrost cycle worked with no problems when I turn system back on. Found system with sticking solenoid valve causing system to trip on high head pressure not allowing system to operate properly. this could also cause the system to bleed refrigerant through which will allow the system to accumulate additional frost/ice caused by the refrigerant cycling through with defrost being on refreezing the defrosting cycle into ice crystals on coil. this will cause coil to frost faster, will also cause the freezer to stay in defrost cycle too long allowing freezer to go past optimal temperature. System also appears to be slightly overcharged due to solenoid valve not operating properly ( sticking ) will need that working properly to determine refrigerant charge. Recommended repairs replace/clean solenoid valve check refrigerant charge after valve has been replaced.
