Main Office Cooling Unit Above the Ceiling: Installed in 2019 (5 years old) Replace Trane air handler indoor cooling coil (evaporator) due to refrigerant leak in cooling coil causing a loss of refrigerant and cooling ability. Part is under warranty till September 30, 2024 (Labor is not Covered) New part (coil) warranty will only be for the remaining days left on the original warranty of September 30, 2024 (25 days at time of proposal) with a 1 year labor warranty (Replacing the air handler with Trane is highly recommended as it will have a 5 year part warranty with 1 year labor) Pumped system down to secure all refrigerant before initiating evaporator change out. Cut the old evaporator and filter drier out. Brazed new filter drier on liquid line and pulled a vacuum down to 179 microns. Added 2 pound of R410 refrigerant and tested system everything is fully functional and operating within manufacturer specifications. (Photos attached)
