Good Service But No Covid Protocols

In the midst of this pandemic that we are still in, you are lacking in PPE for your employees. I was disappointed to see that none of you wore masks and shoe protection. Guys went up and down the second floor without shoe protection. Your Covid Protocols both from the perspective of the customer as well as your employees needs to be reviewed and changed. Customers need to be reminded that if anybody in the household is experiencing Covid symptoms, to cancel/reschedule the appointment until it is safe. The safety of your employees as well as your customers should be of utmost concern. Your scheduling of appointments via Google is impressive and I like the way the bids are detailed and categorized into good, better, best.

Customer had us out to replace her water heater. We drained and removed the old heater and we replaced it with a new Bradford white 40 gallon natural gas water heater. We also installed new water supply lines, new emergency water shutoff valve, new gas supply line, a new gas shutoff valve, we also replaced the sediment trap, and reconnected the t&p valve. We then turned the water on and inspected for leaks, hitch none were found. We lit the heater and set it’s temperature to the manufacture recommendation. Everything is working properly at this time. We found no further issues at this time.

This job was referred to us by Entrusted. I got there and removed the kitchen faucet, along with all water lines, and drain lines. I also disconnected the gas from the stovetop so they could remove that. I put all the parts in a bag beneath the sink so that they won’t get lost. I found no further issues at this time.

We installed the 5 Ton evaporator coil under manufacturer warranty. We installed a new zoning control damper for the upstairs. We separated the touching duct work with insulation.

On arrival homeowner was concerned about the upstairs a/c not cooling. I inspected the condenser and discovered that the system was low on refrigerant. I topped off the system with r22 refrigerant per the homeowners request. I recommend upgrading the system when possible. The system has a leak and the refrigerant is only a band-aid approach.

We cut in a access door to slab evaporator coil. We flushed drain lines and install a in-line safety float switch. We flushed the evaporator coil of any dirt if it is able to be basic cleaning.

On arrival homeowner was concerned about the system not engaging. I inspected the condenser and discovered that the capacitor was ruptured. I replaced the capacitor on the condenser and got the system to engage. The system is working properly at this time.

On arrival homeowner was concerned about the a/c shutting off. I inspected the drain and discovered that it was backing up causing the float switch to engage, thus shutting off the system. I preformed drain maintenance on the downstairs system to clear the blockage. I tested the drain by pouring water on the a/c drain to make sure it’s flowing properly. The system is working properly at this time.

Customer had us out to check out a toilet that was leaking. I got there and saw it was leaking from the base and determined the issue to be the wax ring. I pulled and reset the toilet with a new wax ring and the issue was resolved. I flushed the toilet several times and there is no further leak. The customer is Air Force so I was able to give him a 10% military discount. I found no further issues at this time.

We perform duct cleaning throughout all vents and returns. We cut an access hole inside the plenum to perform cleaning of the plenums and y’s trunk lines. We assess the return can and performed cleaning there as well. We pulled and clean the blower housing and wheel. We fog both systems with an anti-microbial disinfectant. The system is now sanitized and in clean working condition.

On arrival inspected the a/c system and found that the condenser fan motor was not in operation. On further inspection I found out that the capacitor was blown and needed to be replaced, homeowner agreed to have the capacitor replaced, so I continued my inspection and discovered that the refrigerant level was below rating. Homeowner decided to add refrigerant to the system. The a/c system is now working properly according to manufacture specs at this time.

Performed one system ac tune up and efficiency checklist. We discovered on tune up check list and evaluated that the hard start kit ruptured, there was no access door to evaporator coil, there was a burnt wire going to start capacitor and system was low on refrigerant. We let the home owner know of concerns and Mr Don approved for us to make the repairs. After repairs we flushed condenser coil and tested refrigerant operations, compressor and starting amps. The system is working to manufacture specs at this time.

On arrival customer stated the upstairs is not cooling. I evaluated the system and found the dual start capacitor ruptured. We proposed a new capacitor and a hard start kit to protect the compressor and capacitor. We offered the homeowner if he wanted us to check the rest of the systems, which we discovered that the 4.5 ton run capacitor was below rating and offered to swap out the capacitor as well as add an additional hard start kit for the downstairs condenser. The homeowner also wanted to protect the 2 ton system, so we added a third hard start kit. All three systems are upgraded and protected by hard start kits. As a first time visit, we went ahead topped off the systems with r410 refrigerant curtesy of Dr. Rescue. At this time all three systems are working efficiently with proper charge according to manufacture specs.

On arrival discovered secondary drain line was leaking water into emergency drain pan. We performed drain maintenance on primary drain line and cleaned p-trap out. We tested the primary drain by pouring a gallon of water down primary drain. Drain line is now draining properly and secondary drain has stopped leaking.
