Good Service But No Covid Protocols

In the midst of this pandemic that we are still in, you are lacking in PPE for your employees. I was disappointed to see that none of you wore masks and shoe protection. Guys went up and down the second floor without shoe protection. Your Covid Protocols both from the perspective of the customer as well as your employees needs to be reviewed and changed. Customers need to be reminded that if anybody in the household is experiencing Covid symptoms, to cancel/reschedule the appointment until it is safe. The safety of your employees as well as your customers should be of utmost concern. Your scheduling of appointments via Google is impressive and I like the way the bids are detailed and categorized into good, better, best.

Customer had us out to replace her water heater. We drained and removed the old heater and we replaced it with a new Bradford white 40 gallon natural gas water heater. We also installed new water supply lines, new emergency water shutoff valve, new gas supply line, a new gas shutoff valve, we also replaced the sediment trap, and reconnected the t&p valve. We then turned the water on and inspected for leaks, hitch none were found. We lit the heater and set it’s temperature to the manufacture recommendation. Everything is working properly at this time. We found no further issues at this time.

On arrival homeowner wanted a heat tune up on both of the a/c systems. I inspected both the upstairs and downstairs furnaces as well as tested operations on both. The blower amperage was on spec, the inducer motor was on spec, transformer was on spec. I cleaned and tightened all connections on the boards as well as the high voltage. After preforming a heating tune up I found no faults on either of the systems. The furnace on both the upstairs and the downstairs are working properly at this time.

On arrival homeowner was concerned about the downstairs a/c system not cooling. I inspected the condenser and found no faults on the components. I then followed by checking the charge on the downstairs a/c system and discovered that it was severely low on refrigerant. I recommended the homeowner a leaks search to pin point the source of the leak. I preformed the leaks search with the homeowners approval and discovered that there were 2 leaks on the evaporator coil on non accessible locations for patching. We will submit you claim to the home warranty company for approval on your repairs.

On arrival homeowner was concerned about the upstairs a/c not cooling. I checked refrigerant levels on the condenser and discovered that the charge was severely low. I recommend a leak search to find the source of the leak. I preformed a leak search on the evaporator coil and discovered that the source of the leak were multiple leaks on the evaporator that are in not repairable locations. We will send your claim to the home warranty company for approval on your repairs.

I discovered that the store capacitor on the condenser had ruptured. I installed a new OEM start capacitor and tested operations of system. After repairs everything is working properly to manufacture specs. Customer will be calling on Monday for accessories to install on his Ac system.

Customer had a complaint of damaged Sheetrock and a possible leak in the garage ceiling that was directly under a restroom upstairs. I could not find a leak initially no when I spoke with landmark, they informed me they wouldn’t cover cutting into the Sheetrock unless there was issue. The homeowner ok’d me to cut the Sheetrock and when I had the access hole there, I could not find an issue. I concluded the stains were from previous damage and there is no issue at this time with the commode.

Customer had an issue with her water heater not heating, I replaced both thermostats and elements in the unit and was able to correct the problem. However when I turned the water off to the unit, a clog appeared in the kitchen hot pipe. The customer wanted us to replace the galvanized and we ran upon or pex pipe from a 3/4” copper trunk line down to the faucet. We installed new angle stop and reconnected everything. After installation we tested everything and double checked the work and found no other issues at this time.

On arrival homeowner was concerned about the a/c not working. I inspected the condenser and found no faults. I followed by inspecting the air handler in the attic and discovered that the drain pan was full of water. I recommended to flush both of the drain lines to clear the blockage. I vacuumed all of the water in the drain pan and flushed the emergency drain pan as well as preformed drain maintenance. The system is working properly at this time.

This job was referred to us by Entrusted. I got there and removed the kitchen faucet, along with all water lines, and drain lines. I also disconnected the gas from the stovetop so they could remove that. I put all the parts in a bag beneath the sink so that they won’t get lost. I found no further issues at this time.

Customer had me out because they could hear a weird noise in the upstairs bathroom. I got there and heard the noise myself. I was a semi-high pitch noise, it was not always the same note, and sometimes it was a short burst of noise sometimes it was longer. I could only hear it in the bathroom so I went into the attic above it and I was able to hear it there too. I followed the sound and as I got closer it grew louder so I know I was in the right direction. I followed it to the corner of the eve in the attic and I could go no further as I was already crawling on my stomach. There was no water or drain lines around there so I don’t think it is a plumbing issue. To me it sounded like an animal that was stuck somewhere but I have no way of knowing for sure. I found no further issues at this time.
