Scott from Effective Air came out to our home to repair our 19 year old Air Conditioning System that had completely stopped working (during a week of 90+ temps). I am so grateful that he took time to explain what repairs would be worthwhile and what would not be cost-effective for an older unit. He took time to explain things well and made suggestions for us in the short-term and long-term future. He could have charged me more than 10x the amount he did if he wanted to sell me a new system but instead, I paid < $500 for a couple new parts and more than 2 hours of his time. I am so grateful!!
